Abundance through Breathing

We have so many opinions and sentiments about abundance. This week, we use our awareness of how the breath moves in the body, especially when we are in the top of the breath and letting the breath flow out. Air is inherently abundant on our planet earth. When we notice the fluid flowing breath, we find abundance and recognize the nourishment of breath. As we expand into breathing as our Divine Self, we know that qualities such as harmony, peace and love are all infinitely abundant. We recognize our inherent ability to sense our divine self and expand into its awareness. We begin to find our place in the divine plan. The divine plan does not require surrender of self but becomes an enhancement of self, for as you find the place where you can offer the highest and best of who you are, the plan returns to you a flow of high quality purity that buoys you higher and higher. You become the best you can be and more and more of your highest good can flow to you.

Welcome. Thank you for coming. This is Miriam's meditations. So pleased that you're here for our breath and meditation practice. So one of the things that I like to do is keep track of what's going on in our celestial neighborhood. And there's something interesting happening to the sun. In this period of time scientists have their instruments out, listening for different things happening on the sun, the sun is in solar cycle 25. So the sun has this giant field of magnetic energy that flows out from its surface toward us actually, out past the outer planets, it's an enormous field of influence. And the sun has the north and south pole of that magnetic field, like any field of magnetism, it's got poles every 11 years, the sun completes a solar cycle. And sometime within that solar cycle, the Poles flip, so that North becomes south and south becomes north. And so right now we are at the peak of the cycle, just about in that moment where the polarity is about to change. But something really interesting is happening right now. And that is the southern pole has almost completely disappeared of any kind of polarity. And the northern pole is just about to go. So there's almost no polarity, to the sunshine to the sun right now. Now, as we know, the sun gives off a variety of different kinds of energies, different frequencies, the visible light that we can see this magnetism that we've been talking about, I feel like it also creates a quantum field, and has quantum particles that flow out and around from the sun. That makes sense to me. So my my thought is, I like to keep up with these things in the cosmic neighborhood, in part because I like to see if I can feel the difference. It's just a way to see if I can expand my sensory capacity. And notice, notice what's happening around me, notice if the trees look different, or the light seems different, or it feels different to me, can I recognize when something like this is happening in our neighborhood, so the energy from the sun has got this very different magnetic field at the moment. And so I just encourage you to go outside and get in the sun and see if you can notice what's happening in our celestial neighborhood. So there's a little homework assignment for you. So breathing, breathing is free. There's air all around us. And I like to think of air and breathing as a form of abundance. There is plenty of air. Although the quality of our air may be different this past summer, there was quite a lot of wildfire smoke in my neighborhoods, the quality of the air was impaired. It made me very aware of my breath, it made me very aware of the abundance of good clean air and how important that is to our survival and also to all of the creatures in my neighborhood that maybe can't go indoors and get away from the smoky air. Last week, we began talking about breathing as your Divine Self, recognizing our optimum breath, open in all areas of the breathing space, balanced in frequency for whatever activity that we're doing, and free and flowing, fluidly flowing. And not attached to thoughts are other emotions, things in the body that can change your breathing pattern. So that was last week's work. And I hope that you had spent some time thinking about that, and experimenting with that and noticing how your breath was in different circumstances and whether or not you were very reactive to the outside world. And that might have made your breath change in some ways. So I would encourage you to continue to do that this coming week or two. Notice your optimum breath, notice how many breaths you are taking in and flowing out depending on the kind of activity that you are up to. So the next lesson in breathing is your Divine Self has to do with breath holding and breath flowing. And there are different circumstances where we might hold our breath. And there are times when we may be holding our breath or clinging to the breath in a way that's not optimum for us. We're not letting the breath go. So close your eyes for a moment. And begin to notice how your breath is flowing right now. Just let it flow in and let it flow out. And the part of breath I'd like you to notice for a few moments for a few cycles of breath is that place where the breath turns around Where the breath flows in was a small pause perhaps at the top of the breath, and the breath flows out. Now as you are recognizing how your breath is in your body flowing in, small pause flowing out, recognize whether or not you're holding on to the breath at that very top moment, and how easily you let go of the breath. And the reason this is key to the idea of abundance is a kind of faith that you breathe in, and you breathe out because that's the only way to take in another breath. But you are aware that there is an abundance of air you are aware that there's abundance of breath you become aware of this nourishment that is freely offered by the atmosphere of the planet, created the oxygen created by the plants are carbon dioxide used by the plants to create food along with sunshine. Being able to release the breath and relax in the knowing that more breath can come is related to that little tiny place at the top of the breath. Where you can notice whether or not your breath has that fluidity is flowing, there is a sense of faith and knowingness that there is enough for you there is abundance for you. Learning to work with the breath in this way was one of the first times I became aware of how much lack consciousness I carried around with me. A lot of this was from my family of origin where there seemed to never be quite enough of most everything. So my general faith and the abundance of the universe was not very solid. The through this simple act of breathing, those thoughts and emotions began to rise to the surface and the kind of a zone of safety that I created for myself with my breath practice. And I began to be able to clear some of that energy about enoughness there being enough for me, there being abundance for me, but also that I was enough just exactly as I am. I don't have to change or adjust or be something someone else needs in order to be just fine with myself. So this piece of work you can do this week, as you clear and make space become aware of how you are with your breath. And whether or not it brings up any ideas of abundance. And being enough feeling like one is enough in who you are. In this moment the breath is so wise there's so much that it can teach us so let's begin our pranayama practice. I mean the first two fingers of the right hand to touch the third eye and we will draw spirals on the third eye on the forehead with the fingertips counting to 36 again 1-234-567-8910 1112 1314 1516 1718 1920 2122 2320 420-526-2720 820-930-3130 230-334-3536 Pause. Now inhale at the third eye and exhale out the third eye and notice the cleansing and clearing of the spiraling. Take one more breath into the third eye and allow the breath to spiral in opening the Third Eye cleansing it and clearing it and exhale. You ready? Right hand remains stationary at the third eye. Left hand comes up place it upon your heart will do heart mind uniting breath breathe in your third eye and exhale into your heart breathe in your third eye. Exhale into your heart and heart and mind began to become in a union as one. Once more breathing in a third eye and exhaling deep into the heart. The mind surrendering to the hearts wisdom. Now breathing at your heart, allow the breath to rise, lifting into the mind. And then exhaling that blended breath back down into the heart. Present at the heart, the breath rises, illuminating the mind and exhaling that blended breath into the sweetness of the heart. Once more breathing in at the heart. Breath rises the lens and exhale back down into the heart. Heart and Mind are wedded in a spiritual union. Let your left hand drop to your lap right hand remain stationary. alternate nostril breathing. Inhale through both sides of your nose. Exhale through both sides of your nose. Now close off your right nostril with your thumb. Breathe in the left side only. Close off with your fingertips, lift up your thumb. breathe out breathe in the same side. clothes off lift up your fingers breathe out breathe in same clothes off out other insane out other insane out other insane out other insane out other insane that your hand dropped in your lap and breathe out both right and left hemispheres of the brain come into oneness, balance and harmony and excellent breath to do before you turn in at night before asleep. Just a few rounds, maybe a few minutes is one side of your nose more open than the other. Your active side is your right side. Your restful side is your left side. So if you are trying to go to sleep, you might see if you could get that left side to be a little more prominent by breathing in and out of the left side only for a few seconds of breath. All right, let's open her eyes and begin tapping on the breathing space. tapping, tapping, tapping, just breathing in and out tap on your lower ribs. Tap on your upper ribs is one of my favorite breaths. All right. Pause fingertips on your upper chest. And now breathe in tapping, tapping, tapping padding as you retain the breath padding all over the breathing space. And exhale, let it go. release. Inhale tapping, tapping, tapping padding as you retain the breath padding Okay. Exhale, let it go. Eyes open, palms up for two cleansing breaths. Breathe in. Three short puffs out. Again, breathe in hands on either side of your ribcage. Four ribs, stretching breath. Inhale, feel your ribs move and expand under your hands. And now as you exhale, press the air out by pressing on your ribs, moving your ribs with your hands. Now inhale again, feel your ribs expand. And as you exhale moving your ribs, palms up for a cleansing breath, breathe in. Three short puffs out close your eyes, inhaling and exhaling. Now I like to do two retained breaths because the retain breath gives us instruction about fullness, enoughness and abundance. As you retain the breath at the top of the breath. We are recognizing the nourishment that comes in with the breath and the enoughness of that breath. So exhale all the air in your lungs to prepare. And now just simply fill your lungs from all on the bottom of your breathing space all the way up to the top full and complete. Now pause the top of the breath and stretch and open around the breaths. squeeze your shoulder blades together maybe or roll your head around. And now open your mouth and let the breath go. Really exhale. Next base. Breathe in again. rising to the top, Retain the breath. Stretch an open around the breath. And when you're ready, open your mouth and release eyes open palms up for a cleansing breath Breathe in and exhale three short puffs. Eyes closed again and just sit for a moment with a recognition of how nourishing the breath is and the abundance of the breath in the body. The air molecules the oxygen molecules circulating through your bloodstream. On the exhalation, the carbon dioxide leaving the body all taking place beneath your notice generally the general abundance of having a human body such a gift and now we'll do one minor yoga exercise to complete our practice. Inhale a full and complete breath and as you are breathing in Arc your arms into a prayer pose above your head palms together. I am holding perfect even as my mother father God is whole imperfect within the an exhale as your arms drop down into your lap fully draw your senses in my release all the effort of practice and come to this quiet, central place notice your breath smooth and easy relaxed and open. Perfectly tuned. Just needs of the body drawing your consciousness deep within notice your emotional body is quiet and your mental body is quiet breath leaves us in a calm, relaxed place in this quiet place we can listen ever more deeply for our divine self, that greater portion of who we truly are expand your awareness that holy perfect blueprint that we align with is the end of our practice originates from the Divine Self. The Divine Self is eternal abundance. And as we listen for the wisdom of the Divine Self, we are knowing that this voice is always loving, always supportive, compassionate and kind. You might not hear a voice or even words, but simply feel a loving surround. A sense of being cared for. And expanding into that you are the divine self, you are the expanded one. never short of compassion or love or kindness always in abundance. I notice when I am expanded into my divine self and my divine knowing this, my breath expands as well. There is a kind of alignment a secret alignment here. And while the personality self may have breathing patterns that are overlaid upon your optimum breath, which is how the Divine Self breathes. We can learn to expand into this divine breath by recognizing our divine self and expanding our consciousness into that as though we are the sun itself. That beautiful, loving sphere of light without which there would be no life on this planet. And it has this enormous, enormous field of influence and energy that expands way out past the last planets. millions of light years away from the surface of the sun in all directions. We too are large and fast as the we are sons of a different sort. And yet we have within our core this brilliant light that expands and flows out from us in all directions. And we have referred to this as all body of light. So when we sit in these peaceful moments, having done our breath practice and expand into this knowingness of the greatest of how we are in our divinity and our divine self, our son self so radiant 10 Pure listening, resonating, aligning this is also a practice that is very quiet, sensitive. And that could be done at the end of the day. A when you are preparing for rest, you could symbolically place your hands in front of you and allow all of the cares of the day the mental worries and stresses, the emotional heartaches and disappointments or even good things that happened to you during the day thoughts of plans, projects creativity all of that could be placed in your hands and set aside for sleep making a clean open space where you can expand into seeing how much of your Divine Self you can recognize how expanded you can be as you lift yourself up and out into this light and while you may have no visual of the light, this is fine. You have a felt sense and innate felt sense and innate knowing of how to increase your awareness to this capacity that brilliance is many many colors, colors that have no corollary in your personality level world for it is a spiritual light and your light may have be of warm hues, the cool ones really get whites all of the colors the luminous and soft self generating out ahead in front of you with your focus, you may have a different set of patterns than you have behind you or above you or below you. So, let your focus travel around and noticing incense also with your heart center, the center of your light body is a different kind of energy than your human emotional body. There are different resonances here expanded capacities for compassion, Peace and Love, joy and wisdom all of these qualities in infinite abundance available you see there is no shortage, there is only abundance. And now notice your breathing in the gentlest ways and imagine you can perceive yourself as your Divine Self breathing. In this deep quiet, peaceful, vital there is a vitality to peace there is a dynamic energy. It is very fluid and flowing. Even in its Stillpoint and restfulness. These seem to be qualities that do not go together perhaps. But there are many dimensions to peace. One of its finest qualities is a sense of openness and possibilities. Being at one reverently being with what is breathing. Now for a few moments we would like you to imagine yourself stepping out into your day. Recalling your divine self and your divine nature, you and as you are in your personality moments and your breathing as your Divine Self. What might that feel like? What possibilities might open for you, as you are recognizing your divinity in this particular way what resources or connections are Randy Roos? Might you attract? When you have this high resonant tone expressing out into your ordinary world this so beautiful. To move about, with this awareness and embodiment of your Divine Self, you are so expanded in your possibilities and your alignments with your highest good and you become an active participant in a divine plan that is unfolding all around you. And this divine plan is in no way a diminishment of your will or your personal impetus. It is you slotting beautifully into that place and the pattern in the paradigm that is out working and that raises you to this high frequency and the pattern of light around you fill soon with brilliance and precision. And your heart is full at the beauty of it all. And you know yourself to be on purpose in the light dancing with life in the most beautiful and fluid outworking possible. So as you breathe as your Divine Self you slot right into your place in the divine plan. You become magnetic to your highest good people bring you flowers and smile or perhaps look quizzically at you why you are smiling so big because you know you know how to breathe. You know that you are part of the beautiful dance. And there is room for all. Everyone has a place and a purpose in the pattern. Do you see how beautiful it becomes so rich it's powerful. You become a beacon of that light, that peace, that hope for an abundant future of creative energies and out workings. So I ask you now to give yourself the suggestion as you walk out into your daily life that you will remember moment to moment from time to time that you are breathing as your Divine Self. And notice what that feels like what is happening around you notice the colors and the light and the inherent beauty of the world and remember to listen for the sun who is smiling down upon us all equal measure So call yourself back now to your breathing body, becoming aware of your heart. You might place your hands upon your heart and breathe a few cycles of breath in and out of the heart. Seeing the hearts to that divine plan. I love that light is shining out from you to all whom you love, all whom you encounter, to all that you care about and your plans, and your projects, your community, your country and your planet. In full, all in light, peace and abundant love.
