Blessings and welcome to Miriam's meditations. Thank you very much for joining being part of our breath and meditation practice. We've been reading through a book called personal power through awareness by Cynthia Roman. It's a channeled work and her guides name is Oren. And there'll be some information in the show notes about how to get your copy if you'd like. But to know that you can simply listen along with us, it's not necessary to have the book to participate. But everyone who is reading it is getting a lot out of that, I'll just say that in my life group of meditators who are with me now. So we're in chapter eight. And chapter eight is called Finding Your deeper truth. And as I read through this chapter, it was hard to be very straightforward there. Because it's easy to tell ourselves the same stories about ourselves over and over again, especially the ones where we come out looking really good. Or we're ignoring the part that we played and the things that happen to us. And we allow ourselves to be victims, or to blame others or feel sorry for ourselves. And all of that is just stories we tell ourselves, but also in that realm is things like self blame. We don't want to be in that category either. Or saying really rough things to ourselves, because we did something. We're just doing the best we can and Oren reiterates that over and over in this chapter, we are all, each of us doing the best we can. And that goes for the person that you're in relationship with who may have done something to you that caused you some pain. They're also doing the best they can. So our job here, according to Oren is to witness how we set up situations in our lives for our ability to grow from it. So if something's happening in our lives that is causing us challenge, or accelerated growth that may or may not have felt we were ready for that we know that we are setting these situations up for our growth and our evolution. One of the things that we're in says in this chapter is nothing you are upset about is caused by what you think it is. Which is something I had to really think about afresh, right? Yes, that blows your mind little. So what is causing it and Oren says that, almost always we're reliving childhood pain so we can heal it. And at the bottom of all, this is the essential truth, that you are a great being. And within you is compassion, courage, strength and wisdom, to live your life from this higher place at all times. So if we start from that essential truths, that we are each of us a great being, and those that we are in relationship with also a great being. It helps us to find compassion for ourselves and for others for the situations that we find ourselves in. So one of the tasks here is to become aware of our thoughts. And to add light to those thoughts. So no matter what we are thinking about ourselves, or the other person or the situation, if we can have the light of our soul, then we can become aware of the real truth of the situation. And any ways that we can be able to make changes in ourselves to grow and heal. Or, and also says when you evolve, you evolve when you match your words and actions, to your truth and awareness of who you are. Otherwise, we're just stuck in the same wheel knowing over and over the same ground. So when we match our words and actions, to our truth, and our awareness of who you are, and honoring our deepest truth, is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and to the other person. And the essential truths of all of that is that that truth is always loving. That truth you don't get to the bottom of your truth where it's punitive to yourself, or even the other person and certainly not so harm. You get to the bottom of the truth and that's where this loving places and love can be a really hard thing to do. You know, it's just really kind of easier to let it be that you were paying or you were wronged in some way and just go on. Like okay, well that just happen I'm going to learn to deal with it. But we have energy tied up and these unresolved issues, then when energy is tied up and unresolved issues, it's not available for us to do anything with. It's just compromised in a kind of way. So when we're really brave, and we're willing to do this deeper work, and we're able to come to awareness of our own position, and all of this, and how we bring things situations into our lives in order to be able to heal, and grow and evolve, that energy is freed up. And it comes back to this, we're not caught our energies not caught somewhere in the past or worried about the future. Again, more and more of your energy comes into your now what's kind of the point really, living in the now with as much of our consciousness as we can. So that's sort of an overview of what this chapter is about. So what I'd like to do now is do our problem Yamo. And then we're going to do a couple of energy exercises that help us to clear some of the synergy we'll do the practice and do some clearing. So as we are doing our proni, Yama, if there's some situation that you had been working through, or has come to your attention recently, and we get to like the clearing parts of the pranayama. And see if you can let some of that energy flow through you in whatever form it takes, even if it's not a mental thought, or even an emotion to see it as energy. And when you're drawing the breath in dry and light, and release, dry and light, and released. And you'll be surprised at what might come to your awareness through that practice. All right, so let's close our eyes come into an awareness of your breath. And with all that we have been just talking about your thoughts may be a little unsettled, or your emotional body maybe a little stirred up. That's fine. Just notice where you are in the moment. See if you can smooth out your mental body by just imagining that your scalp and the surface of your brain are very smooth, almost as though they are dropping down towards your ears. Kind of a melting sort of smoothing out. If you can just focus for a moment on that smoothing out feeling as a chocolate for your head and maybe even the surface of your brain. You will notice that cat smoothing feels very nice. It's kind of a relief from jostling your thoughts around or trying to solve this problem that Oren has presented us this this morning. Of finding our deeper truth. You really can't use your brain to do it. It's more of an experiential knowing rather than a thought process to let your mental body just smooth out. And as you draw your next breath in, let that come into your heart and let your emotional body settle down as well. Let your shoulders drop away from your ears as you exhale let your breath began to be very smooth and easy and peaceful. Let your exhale begin to lengthen so that your exhalation is somewhat longer than your inhalation. This settles your nervous system down and quiets it as well. Now let's bring the first two fingers the right hand up to touch the third eye. And as we are doing our spirals upon the forehead drawn the breath into the third eye in a large spiral, and as you exhale, let it cleanse and clear your mind and your third eye. So we'll draw our spirals going toward the left first, begin 1-234-567-8910 1112 1314 1516 1718 1920 2122 2320 420-526-2720 820-930-3130 230-334-3536 Pause. Inhale your third eye and exhale, your third eye. Right hand remain stationary, left hand comes up to place upon your heart. Heart mind, uniting breath. Breathe in your third eye and exhale into your heart. Let the breath just drop easily into the heart. Again, breathing into the third eye and exhale into your heart once more breathing at your third eye collecting the energy there. And breathe that energy down to surrender to the heart, heart and mind began to blend as one. Breathe into your heart and allow the breath to rise up into the mind. And exhale that blended energy back down into the heart. Breathe into your heart, the breath rises, lifting, blending and exhaling back down into the sweetness of the heart. One more time breathes in the heart. Breath rises and blends and exhale back down into the heart. Heart and Mind are one I'll leave your right hand up with a third eye. You can let your left hand drop to your lap or if your right arm is getting tired. You can use your left arm to support that right arm in those muscles a bit of a rest urgent nostril breathing. Breathe in through both sides of your nose exhale through both sides of your nose now close off your right nostril with your thumb and breathe in the left side only close off with your fingers lift to persoane breathe out breathe insane clothes off lift up your fingers Prieta.

let your hand dropped your lap and breathe out both breath can make your nose random little bits of tissue sir handkerchief. A nice idea when you're practicing pranayama. Alright, so let's open our eyes and begin tapping on the breathing space. This practice awakeness lung cells the lungs are the repository of grief in the body. Sometimes when there is grief present in your life, you may find that your breathing space may become a little congested or you might even get a cold. That's very common. This allows the energies that have been collected there in the breathing space to be easily released. Right now pause with your fingertips on your upper chest. Inhale, tapping, tapping, tapping all over, padding, padding with your palms. Exhale, let it go. Inhale, tapping, tapping, tapping, tapping padding to retain the breath. And exhale, let it go. Alright, here's the cleansing we were talking about. Palms up, eyes open, breathe in. Exhale, three long puffs. So completely breathe in. Cleanse hands on either side of your ribcage. This is another exercise specifically for the lungs. Breathe in a full incomplete breath. And now as you exhale, press in with your hands. Really move your ribcage. Breathe in again. And exhale presson. Eyes open palms up, breathe in. Cleanse more cleanse close your eyes. Let your hands dropped in your lap. One retained breath drying all of the blessing and nourishment of the breath into the body. We retain some of the breaths to retain that prana. All right, exhale all the air in your lungs to prepare. Well, it's all breathe in together. At the top, pause, stretch, open around the breath. whatever way feels good to stretch. Now open your mouth and let it go. Let's do that again brings in stretch and open around the retained breath and now let it go. Let's do one Cleansing Breath. Eyes open palms up. Breathe in. And release. hands full down to your lap eyes closed. Minor Yogi exercise. Inhale. Arms are your hands come to a prayer pose above your head. From the center of my being out and out and out. I call forth my perfect blueprint of being an exhale as your arms fall down to your lap. We are coming to a cleansed and clear place to which the breath has carried us a resonant opening where we can allow our deepest truth to arise and emerge as if from a wellspring under the ground. Clear beautiful water flows a crystalline nourishment comes from our deepest knowing of who we truly are a great being a vast consciousness, some of this consciousness is couched in human terms with a span of our lifetime. So let yourself expand for a moment into that greatness of who you are. Recognize your body of light that is all around you. Above and below, side to side, before you and behind you. And you breathe in, imagine your body of light becoming more and more brilliant and beautiful, filled with patterns of light and color. Knowing this moment, I would like you to pay careful attention to the back side of your body of light. So if you are noticing that your beautiful sphere of light has a front and a back, as is as if it has been divided in half only by our imagination, this is simply a focusing. But oftentimes, in this portion that is behind us are patterns that have been held for a long time. Things we have not yet summon the courage to look upon unresolved issues, hard things, difficult things. So notice for yourself, if there's anything there any kind of a pattern, or an area that you can't quite seem to focus upon, perhaps it's a little cloudy, or just not very well lit. And let us use the magic of our breath. To draw some light into whatever you are discovering about the back body. It could be close to your physical body could be a pain, or a tightness in the physical body. Or it can simply be something energetic that is there. That is called your focus to it. And use your greatness of yourself. Imagine your greater self is flowing a pure, beautiful light to you like that wellspring of pure water from under the ground. It can be clear, it can be white, it can be some special color that you especially love. And with every breath, draw that light into your being and let it circulate around whatever this area is that you are working. You are using your breath and the light to fill an area that just needs sunlight. It is that simple. Just drawing light in drawing light through, you can surround it with light. The light can penetrate it. It can create ease and softness. Illumination perhaps as you were doing this, something's coming to mind, an emotional feeling or a mental remembrance of something that is important in this moment. Whatever is happening is fine even if it doesn't seem like much is happening at all. Just keep breathing the light. It could be into the whole back body. Oran tells us the things that are happening in our daily lives are almost always things that are from our childhood that are looking for some kind of healing. They're arising in our lives. For the purpose of bringing love and light to that area and creating a healing vibration perhaps some wisdom or knowing perhaps it is simply a clearing away of an old pattern. So, you can bring all of your energy into your daily focus into your now use your breath use your light and now look and scan all around your body of light is there some other area that calls your attention or if you like you can keep working with the area you have been focusing on. But if you're finished with that, and would like to use your breath and light to find something else that is ready to be cleared and uplifted and illuminated. Now, let your light expand, let yourself grow larger in this light in this clarity of your true self we are learning to discover the deepest truth of our own being which is divine in nature and whose essence is love notice the parents now anyone movement any spaciousness quieting place to rest find some peace recognize all of us who are here who are breathing and filling the light in this very particular way. We are united in a kind of group energy consciousness and in that expanding as you open yourself to becoming resonant with the others who are practicing along with us there is an expanded feeling a recognition of each other as the Great Beings that we are. We each carry patterns and frequencies that are unique to us. And when we gather in this way, we can easily share with each other. These frequencies and patterns that resonate with the highest qualities. This is why meditating together is so wonderful. So expansive. So Rich. So nourishing. It is just such a joy to join with others in this way. So recognizing each other and saluting the work that each person has doing to bring their own being into resonant alignment with the divine with their expanded true nature and with that wellspring of truth these efforts that you are making will have powerful ripples out into your life and you will begin to find it easier and easier to see the overall pattern in whatever you are a pardon be at a relationship or a piece of work and neighborhood a family. Your own personal purpose your alignment is your purpose becomes easier and easier to recognize the truth of all the situations and all of the experiences of your life notice your breath now. You are breathing as your greater self. With us in this moment is a great gathering of beings of light, who have been attracted to our practice and our expression of who we truly are in this light. And they are creating a beautiful sound an especial tone. It is as though many angelic voices are singing together once this is their gift to all of us for becoming more and more visible, in the higher octaves of light. And so, sincerely practicing bringing that light through for the benefit of for the benefit of life, of creation of consciousness. And especially for humanity who is experiencing is old bursts into light. See, if you can hear this holy tongue and perhaps see the sacred geometric patterns that are being released by this tone that is surrounding all of us. This tone has a substance a rich, nourishing substance. Let it flow through you these higher octaves of light cannot be captured. They are opened to in a fluid fashion no more than the spring drinks its own water. But that the spring is the opening of the Earth with a sacred water out pours. And everyone can drink and be nourished. It flows through see it flowing out from you to all of your relationships to your neighborhood your town. To all of the people in the world, all of the consciousness the plants, the animals, the stars, the clouds. The oceans and all the planetary beings beyond our small earth can you see how big this line is? is clarifying elixir that the beings of light have amplified for us to have this direct experience of. Come back to your own body and fly and see all of the beauty there the soft colors the gentle rainbows the beautiful patterns better your Sullivan your iPod your greatness draw your breath now in and out of your heart noticing how your emotional body has been clarified and soothed. gentling has come when you were being held so tenderly as great loves coming back to your breathing body recognizing your body in your chair or upon your cushion breathe in and out now of your third eye. Notice how your thoughts have been clarified and cleansed. Remember this clarity when you step back out into the outer world and all of its clamor meets you at the doorway and you can smile because you are holding these true frequencies and you know you know it is known beyond belief Nyan thoughts and knowing settles upon you that is unshakable. And you radiate this presence beautiful, such beautiful work, such beautiful work all of you.
