Fluid Nature, Open Boundaries, Floating
Stretch your body and your mind with this session of breath and meditation. Walk along the shoreline, opening to the water as a living being. Float in the waves and beneath the surface, merging with the perfect water. Lift up into the sky as we recognize the blue sky mind of sky consciousness, always motion, always changing. We shift our awareness to the shoreline, where we walk into a forest, recognizing the aliveness of the forest consciousness. We recognize that all around us is life, consciousness and fluidity. All is constantly changing, even as we are constantly changing. Becoming aware of this fluid nature of reality as we hold our stability is an important awareness and skill. Come float with us!
Blessings. And welcome to Miriam's meditations. Thank you so much for joining. Thank you for listening and sharing the podcast, breathing along with us. And being in the light being of the light being an uplifter, a transmitter of higher frequencies, and all the things that we aspire to as lightworkers. And you are listening to this on a regular basis, you are a light worker, just in case you were wondering. So I'd like to start today, with a little bit of movement to open up our breathing space. Maybe move yourself to the edge of your chair and begin to notice your breathing. But while you're doing that, maybe roll your head around in one way, one direction and then roll your head in the other direction. Don't go too quickly. Just moving your neck. Squeeze your shoulders up close to your ears and let them drop away all at once. Shoulders up around your ears and drop away all at once. And squeeze your shoulder blades together and let yourself look up. Breathe in. And then as you exhale, round your spine and drop your chin to your chest. Exhaling all the air in your lungs making a little curve like little shrimp, curved spine. And then again, breathe in and squeeze your shoulder blades together, look up, eyes up, chin up, squeeze your shoulder blades together. And then as you exhale, once again, curl your spine dropped the chin to your chest, let your shoulder blades come apart as though your shoulders in the front could meet in the front of you. And then one more time, squeeze your shoulder blades together, look up. And as you exhale, you can use open mouths to really exhale all the air in your lungs, drop your chin to your chest. And now come back to a seated posture, eyes closed. And I encourage you to do a little bit of that movement before you begin your breath. Practice even if I haven't called it out, allow your body to move a little bit in space, maybe even doing a twist to one side or the other. twisting your spine is really good for the spine squeezes your internal organs so that when you come back to neutral, a fresh supply of blood comes into the central core of the body which is really important. Just follow your breath for a few cycles of breath now. Let yourself come into a calm centered place, growing your consciousness deep within you and letting the external world drop away. It's spring in the northeast, in the northern hemisphere of the planet in autumn if you're listening from the southern hemisphere, but these are seasons of transition, transformation, moving out of one state into another. And this is where we find ourselves in this transition point. says we move into our practice, let's make an intention for ourselves. Something to do with this transitional season opening to possibilities noticing what is ready to shift what is opening and beckoning us forward. What is ready to be released and let go. So as we do our birth practice, especially our cleansing breaths. Breath is specifically designed to release from the body everything that is being stirred up by the breath practice. So it could be metabolites from your metabolism products that are seeing the end of that stream of metabolism flowing out on the breath. And along with that, any energies that you have metabolized all the outmoded ways of thinking, emotional patterns you'd like to release. Spring is a good time to let go of things spring cleaning, dusting out the corners of our consciousness with our breath And then seeing what's left on the other side. So when we are on this other side of our practice we'll look at this again and see where we are. So let's pull that intention to use the breath to cleanse and clear open to the fresh possibilities of the new season. So bringing the first two fingers of the right hand to touch the third eye and will breathe in at the Third Eye drawing the breath directly into the forehead and exhale out the third eye in a spiraling pattern. So as you continue with your spirals drawing, with your fingers on your forehead beginning 12345 Continue to breathe in and out. Continue to spiral F 1112 1314 1516 1718 1920 Lindsay Madeleine's of perception continuing to breathe on spiral. 334 3536 inhale exhale, releasing all that can be released from your intuition from your higher mind cleansing and clearing old ideas. belief patterns that no longer serve you allow those to rise into consciousness so you can become aware of them and release them easily. The right hand remains at the Third Eye left hand, place it upon your heart, heart mind, uniting breaths. Breathe in again as a third eye. And as you exhale, it's that breath drop down into the heart, just behind that hand. Beautiful, loving, open heart. Breathing again, it's the third eye collecting the energies there. And exhaling into the heart releasing to the hearts wisdom, allowing this to be your resting place. Once more breathing in the third eye and exhaling into the heart. Heart and Mind begin to blend. And now breathe in as the heart allows the breath to rise as if on wings of a dove illuminating the mind. And then exhaling that blended energy back down into the sweetness of the heart. Breathe into the heart. Allow the breath to rise. blending with the mind and exhaling back down into the sweetness of the heart. One more time breathe in the heart. Lift exhale, release arriving at the heart. Right hand remains stationary left hand can drop to your lap or you can keep it at your heart if you prefer. Breathe in through both sides of the nose for alternate nostril breathing. And then exhale out both sides of the nose close off your right nostril with your thumb and breathe in the left side only. Close off with your fingers lift up your son breathe breezes same side. clothes off. Lift up your fingers breathe out breathe in same clothes off out other reason saying clothes off, out other clothes out other insane that your hand dropped your lap and breathe out, boom. pause for a moment. Recognize right and left hemispheres of the brain have come into harmony. Perhaps with that powerful breath drawing the breath directly in, you might feel a stimulating feeling in the brain or at the crown of the head. Perhaps the breath was unable to come in evenly through both sides of the nose recognize that the right side is your more dynamic, outward, actionable side. Your left side is your more quiet, introspective side. So if you would like to calm your body and you're being for sleep, you can close off your right nostril and breathe in your left side only. If it is closed off and only the right side is active, you may have a little trouble falling asleep. So balancing and harmonizing the both sides of the nose. And as you practice over the years, you will notice far more evenness among the two sides of your nose as your consciousness comes into balance. Let's open her eyes and tap on the breathing space. You tapping with your fingertips all over the upper ribs, tapping on your upper back, tapping on your lower ribs. This is lung cell stimulating breaths, stimulating the circulation and prana in and out of the lungs. pause for a moment your fingertips resting on your upper chest. And now as you inhale, tapping, tapping, dynamically tapping padding as you retain the breath padding with the foam. And then exhale, let it go. Again, tapping as you inhale, tapping, tapping, tapping padding as you retain the breath. Exhale, let it go. That dynamic breath loosens things. So now we will cleanse palms up, eyes open breathing. Three short puffs out. Again, Breathe in and exhale. Hands on either side of your ribcage for ribs stretching breaths, breathe. And exhale, pressing on your ribcage. Moving the ribs breathing and pressing out. Moving the ribs in but the breath is coming out. All right once again. Exhaling the Cleansing Breath palms open. Eyes open breathe in. Three short puffs breathe in again. And cleanse eyes closed hands resting in your lap. Breathe in and breathe out and easy peaceful breath let's do to surrender breath and when cleansing. remain closed. Breathe in full and complete breath rising to the top. Swallow. Inhale into the upper chest. Release a little breath from the abdomen. Feel the abdomen and now open your mouth and release all of your breath. Surrendering surrendering to your higher wisdom inner knowing beingness again present rising to the top. Small inhale additional breath into the upper chest. Release a little tension from the abdomen. Fill the abdomen with breaths and surrender Eyes open palms up, breathe in and cleanse eyes closed clarity spaciousness openness beingness. Breathe into your full entire body of light as though as you are breathing in you're filling a sphere of light all around you each inhalation draws more and more light into your brain just let that light circulate within your own being for now clear white, light breaths beautiful, large sphere of light all around you now take a walk with me either as your body of light or as your ordinary self with your hands and feet and smile. And we'll walk along the seashore. Feeling the sand under our feet and the warm sunshine above and the beautiful Aqua sea many different shades of blue and the dome of the sky also blue. So many different colors of blue. We're walking along smell the salt air and the freshness and the sound of the waves and the shore and the crunchy sand under our feet. Feeling so at ease a peaceful joyful journey along the seashore notice how the ocean is never still. Even on a calm day when it's relatively flat. It is always dynamic and moving. For waters powerful quantum fluid of life is ever in motion. Not unlike our breath or our own circulatory system. The beat of our heart the flow of emotions, our thoughts all of this motion is orderly and organized. Just as all of the molecules of water in the beautiful ocean that we are observing. So perhaps if you are feeling like you would like a dip in the ocean you can walk out there it is a beautiful day and the ocean is safe and calm. And you can float if you like or if you prefer a vessel. You might have a little surfboard or a small boat. However you feel the most at ease. Allow yourself to feel that floating sensation because the all of these processes of motion that are inside of you are one with the ocean. Just one large mechanism of motion pattern within patterns and pattern until it all just blends into a harmonious system and all you feel is light and floating at ease comfortable fluid you're easily breathing in and out thing at the sky. Noticing if there are birds they are floating on their own currency air. And we are floating in the water being one with this vast sea of the consciousness of the ocean being at one with this enormous energy field, that is the ocean the ocean has its own consciousness and it contains all of the other lives and consciousnesses that are within it the fishes and the plants the molecules of sand all of the tiny little life forms the plankton, the algae the microbes, the invisible once the sea is alive, there is no the spilling of the ocean that is not alive. It is one giant field of lifeforce energy. There we are currently immersed within you can even float around under the surface of the water because we are in the magical realm of imagination and easily see all of a beautiful life that is underneath the waves Imagine that you are dissolving into the ocean. And there is no longer any boundary between yourself your body and the body and life of the ocean. We are one with this vast field of energy we are fluid and dynamic. See if you can notice a flow that you can follow perhaps a current of warmer or cooler water or a wave pattern where the ruffles wind upon the surface close your inner eyes in this ocean environment and simply feel your way along. See how vast you can become as the ocean becoming one with ocean consciousness in this vastness of ocean consciousness, there are many currents many flows rivers have different salinities of water that maintain their integrity as a flow even as they are invisible. In the larger ocean consciousness, you can feel it though. Now float up to the surface, float along the surface of the wall Water and notice the sky consciousness for the atmosphere made up of all of the molecules of air may be invisible to us, but it is not empty space it is era consciousness, Sky consciousness, all of the tiny life forms even things like spiders who fly along the electrical currents of the sky with their webs as a kind of hydrofoil that allows them to fly butterflies travel great distances in the sky consciousness particles from meteors and outer space rain down constantly through the sky to the earth and the ocean. Seeing if you can expand yourself to be as big as the sky, open your mental body and allow all of that blue light in blue sky mind see how dynamic it is always flowing always moving become one with all of that movement those flows allowing your boundaries to dissolve little more is cereal than the water was is it not? There is consciousness here there is beingness Yes, expansive openness now float yourself back to the shore and feel again the fine sand upon your feet. And imagine that adjacent to this ocean environment there is a lovely forest right there. So as we walk from the sand, we come to the boundary where the forest floor begins. And it is soft, in rich brown and we can smell the breath of the forest all around us. And notice all of the living organisms that are here this is also very rich environment. There is here forest consciousness imagine that the forest is breathing as it is. All of the trees are respiring the ferns and the mosses. Each tree is an entire community of invisible beings, tiny microbes. itty bitty little insects going about their beautiful lives. Flow always flow. So even in this environment which seems somewhat more static than the ocean or the air. There are flows that you can follow. So let's perhaps find a comfortable seat on a rock or a law we're on the forest floor and be still and breathe with the forest. And notice here the patterns that are always in motion become one with the forest flows. Recognize that nothing in our creation is ever steal. Everything is always moving even things that seem relatively static. At minut levels of consciousness. There is always motion And with motion is change, fluidity potential opportunity for great expansion and creativity are to be comfortably held by boundaries of your own choosing. So as you were sitting on our forest floor, you can see only so far you can smell only so much. Your experience is a little carefully a surround. The liveliness, the aliveness of the forest is a surround, there is a kind of boundary here. But recognize that boundary only exists as your experience and perception. And this, my friends is how it is everywhere, always throughout your entire existence, you are perceiving and observing, creating boundaries that change and flow. So, in this season of spring, as we have explored all of these various environments, come back to yourself, recognize the fluidity of who you truly are, the rich openness that exists all around you. And in these next few moments of quiet, notice anything in your environment, a boundary, an outdated idea, simply something that has run its course, that you are ready to release clear way just breathe it out, breathe it away. As you are doing this exercise allow yourself to rise in the energies lifting for anything that you have had bound in your consciousness, no matter what its form had an energy signature, there was energy bound up in it. And as you let it go, that energy is released and opened made free and this is your energy. These are your consciousness units. This is like playdough or Lego bricks, the very substance of the universe with which you can mold something new. So, as you go about your life after you emerge from this practice, allow yourself to feel fresh and look for new clues of openness. New patterns or systems of order that want to form creative moments are simply a feeling of being refreshed. Having let go of the old and recognized all of the fluidity that is your true nature let yourself rise into the light a beacon for all others as you transmit this beautiful energy that is your true nature unencumbered. Open All right, let's bring ourselves back to an awareness of our breathing body knows a lovely adventure. You might notice in which of those environments you felt the most at home.
