Chapter Three: Directing the Unseen Energies Around You

Energy is everywhere, Energy is everything. Everything we encounter, perceive and interact with is made of patterns of energy. Even you.

Being able to perceive what comes to you as energy from other people, from the natural world or from anything is a skill you can learn.

You are in a vast field of interacting flows and energies. You are the field and the field is you. You cannot be separate from the field. Nothing exists separately, everything is intertwined and interconnected.

We are interwoven into the fabric of the Universe.

You are a Magnificent energy-sensing Being. you use your 5 senses to become aware of energy, your mental body or thoughts, you emotions, your physical sensations are all ways you are sensing energy right now. You can learn to use your focus to direct your sensing through any of these capacities.

Skill One: Observe. Some key features that we practice are: Intention, Playfulness, Imagination. Awareness of the quality of energy.

We use symbols from our Higher Self to shift energy.

Blessings. And welcome to Miriam's meditations. Thank you for joining us. We are reading and sharing the work of Cynthia Roman channel for Oren in a beautiful book called personal power, through awareness, the guidebook for sensitive people. And we're on chapter three, understanding and directing the unseen energies around you. Energy is everywhere, energy is everything. Everything we encounter or perceive or interact with is made up of patterns of energy. Even you being able to perceive what comes to you, as energy from other people or the natural world, or anything around you is skill that you can learn. You are in a vast field of interacting flows and energies, you are the field and the field is you. You cannot be separated from this field. Nothing exists separately. Everything is intertwined and interconnected. We are interwoven into the fabric of the universe. You are a magnificent energy sensing being you can use your five senses to become aware of energy your thoughts and your mental body, your emotions, your emotional field. And physical sensations are all ways to sense energy right now. And you can learn to use your focus to direct your sensing through any of these capacities, any of these sensing mechanisms so, while breath is not technically a sense, it is a way that we can interact with our environment and there is a lot that we can sense through the breath perhaps you could say that you have a breath since we can imagine that now as you have closed your eyes and turn your attention toward your breath just become aware of how you're breathing in this moment the outside world drop away and notice what you are perceiving inside of you. How does your body feel all of the various energy patterns of the body using our physical senses to become aware of the body your emotions are there any emotions flowing around through you just allow them to move through but take notice of them still breathing in and breathing out and your mental body become aware of your thoughts. Allow these two to be very fluid and flowing. Sometimes the things that we are thinking about are not our own thoughts but those that we pick up from people around us. mass culture. Just energies in the psychic weather let your thoughts calm and quiet. If you've had a busy brain day, perhaps you could imagine that the surface of your brain is smoothing out as though all have those little grooves in your gray matter can become smooth for a little while. Let your scalp soften that you're yours flow down as though they can reach your shoulders in a moment, we'll do our heart mind uniting breaths. But for right now, imagine that your brain, your mind could drop easily to your heart space. Just rest there in your heart center. Breathe in and out of the heart center. Notice how your heart is feeling that beautiful muscular Oregon that keeps pumping our blood around, but also the energy field of the heart. It's very large, all around you. The hearts field is the largest energy field of the body larger than your brain. See if you can notice some kind of pattern of energy about your heart smooth and fluid Now let's practice our pranayama before we do a little bit more energy syncing. While we're practicing, notice the energy of the breaths. Let's see if you can let your attention rest lightly on the flows of breath, and just notice what you perceive. So bring the first two fingers as the right hand up to touch your third eye. We'll draw 36 spirals on the forehead, miss our fingertips, breathing in and out of the third eye as we do so. Begin 1-234-567-8910 1112 1314 1516 1718 1920 2122 2320 420-526-2720 820-930-3130 230-334-3536 Paws. Inhale your third eye. Exhale your third eye. Right hand remained stationary at the third eye, left hand comes up and place it upon your heart. Heart mind uniting breaths. Inhale at your third eye and exhale easily dropping into the heart. Inhale your third eye. Exhale into your heart. Inhale your third eye exhale into your heart, heart and mind become one. Inhale now at your heart and let the breath rise. Lifting into the mind. Blending and exhaling easily and gently back into the heart. Inhale at your heart. Allow the breath to rise and exhale easily back down into the sweet heart space. Once more breathe in at the heart. Lift. Blend and exhale. Easily and gently. heart and mind are wedded in a spiritual union. Right hand stays up at your third eye. Left hand can drop to your lap or you can leave it at your heart if you like. alternate nostril Breathing breathe in through both sides of your nose exhale through both sides of your nose now close off with your thumb and breathe in the left side only close off with your fingers lift up your son Breathe Breathe insane close off out other insane out other insane out other insane out other insane let your hand drop to your lap and breathe out both now observe notice the place the breath has carried you to skill number one learning to work with energy is learning to observe using your breath, notice the cool airflow again the warm air flowing out and with your eyes remaining closed see what you can notice about the energy around you the room around you the temperature the cushion upon which you sit notice your feet if they are on the floor with your eyes still closed, remember where all the furniture is around you. Or if you were outdoors, the plants and trees and any outdoor furniture around you explore the contours of the room with your mind. And notice how your attention has become very focused as though your focus is a laser beam and you can place it anywhere choose something in your environment to rest your focus upon. Let's see what you can notice about this item. It might be a piece of furniture or your shoes. Flowers, the sky above you a smell see if you can recognize all of the shapes of the objects around you as patterns of energy as though the items themselves have disappeared or dissolved. And what is left are the patterns of the molecules and the atoms moving in space. Creating the pattern that is your chair or the floor or the trees what can you notice about these patterns? Now these items that we have been observing are fairly neutral. So you may not have noticed a strong emotional reaction to your chair, for example, or even a tree although when I thought of the tree, my heart leaped a little, because I love the trees. And they speak, if you can listen. So some things to keep in mind while you're observing and learning to observe as energy. One is your intention. set an intention to notice things as energy and be able to record somehow with your consciousness, the impressions that you receive, having set an intention to notice things as energy you might even make a little note for yourself and place it somewhere in your home or your car. To help you remember, your intention to notice things as energy. Another thing to keep in mind is playfulness. Let it be light and playful, imaginative there could be swirls or colors, there could be orderly arrangements, as an a crystal, which is a very orderly arrangement of crystalline molecules. Imagine you could hold a crystal in your hand and with your focus, your laser beam focus, notice the arrangement of the molecules, the pattern. Now, this is the next features we are using our imagination. Imagination is powerful, productive, creative, stimulating. So use. So even though if you're imagining feels like you are making things up, let that be fine. Let that be playful. For in this openness, which is the next feature that we are addressing a kind of open playful joyfulness about this creative activity this imagining. As you engage in this way, you will find your sensing as truth you're imagining is becoming you are truly noticing what is there whereas Oren says pretend that you can perceive things as energy and you can. So this magical childlike quality of make believe imagination pretending is a very valuable function. It's very open, isn't it? It's very expansive. Says though with your imagination, you can peel back the rigid structures that we have been taught to associate with the world around us and recognize all the energy that is flowing there was movement for nothing is truly still it is all in activity. Even you as you are sitting here, imagine all of your blood moving through your body quietly swooshing along all of your metabolic processes. Perhaps you could sense some of those as energy Your very molecules are moving they are vibrating they are creating pure life now, we have simply been observing that perhaps in this moment while you are resting your beautiful laser like focus upon your body imagine you could make all of it more beautiful simply by thinking about beauty breathe and beauty in that it's slow breeze it out let it slow observing what am I perceiving notice how all the patterns are interacting with each other on an energy level nothing is separate from anything else you are fully embedded in this field of energy there is no clean demarcation where you stop being and the world starts being although we think of that being our skin the edge of our body however, we spoke earlier of the hearts field notice your hearts field right in this moment it extends several feet away from your body all around you observe its patterns perhaps they have a color a design away another way to work with energy is to use symbols. So, you might ask your Higher Self our inner being to show you a symbol that you could use to work with this heart energy can you make your symbol marking this is one way to work with energy of a specific item or even a relationship is to ask for a symbol and add frequencies of light if it is something that is challenging, and you would like to uplift and you ask for your symbol see if you can shift that symbol even slightly to make it lighter, more cohesive or coherent more responsive filled with health and vitality Did you sense a shift just then the symbol interacts with your reality. In a way that you can perceive and notice so as you work with the symbol the reality shifts with it imagine your simple and your heart filled with love Love heals and protects sooths and conference clarifies so adding the frequency of love the energy of love to your symbol or to your heart changes things doesn't This is so fun having symbols to work with it makes something that seems perhaps fuzzy, more tangible let's try another one. Think of something that is challenging to you. Not a huge challenge you've had with you many years but something relatively easy or less of a big deal a small deal but still a challenge like a pebble in your shoe that kind of size breathe and breathe bring it into your mind now notice what you can about the situation notice any movement color pattern is it heavy? Can you lift it? Can you shift it in some small way that makes it brighter? Is there a symbol is there a way you could add joy or peace or beauty or harmony simply by thinking about these qualities calls them into your vicinity can you make your pebble in your shoe just a little smaller, just a little smaller you might still be able to feel it but it's not quite so annoying as it was before and perhaps it could just dissolve. Now the last step in this process is to interpret what you have experienced. And do this interpretation in a very open and non judgmental way. Let yourself be aware of whatever floats into your mind or whatever you might be feeling. A kind of open sensing so again, your imagination can be very useful here. And if you are having doubts just set them aside and be playful. And open heart makes all of this easier. Let go of your practice and sit back into yourself and just recognize your breathing. Coming back to the breath is a wonderful landing place after any kind of exercise with energy. If you are moving about the world with you receded in your home the breath is a lovely way to recenter. Now a few closing thoughts as much as you can think about what you want, rather than what you would prefer not to have this goes for what you talk about as well. Talk about what you want use symbols from your higher self to assist you. Ask for a symbol of a situation or relationship, your path forward. Whatever you would like. You can use the symbol to develop and heal any situation and finally, tap into others who are successful at what you are working towards or attempting to do at any moment. There are 1000s and 1000s of people on the planet right now who are successfully doing what you are attempting to do or learning to do. Tap into their energy as a field of success potential. And allow yourself to be immersed in the successful energy feel how it lifts you expands around you, opening you to potentials and possibilities now feel your field with a joy and happy heart coming back to an awareness of your breathing body I bring my hands together at my heart in gratitude and thanksgiving for all of you are listening and walking this path of wonders exploration I bid you peace.
