Chapter 9: Journey Into Light: Going Higher
We could all use some peace these days. In this chapter, Orin says, “You can assist humanity in achieving peace by evolving your thoughts.” Our thoughts contribute to mass consciousness. We’ve all felt thrown about by constant bad news, but we don’t have to stay in that place. Through our breath and by evolving our thoughts with Light, we can move away from repeating lower energy thoughts. Thoughts are a type of action. In this episode, we learn how to become transparent to lower thoughts, how to rise in light and to connect to others on the inner planes. There we receive seeds of light that assist humanity in bringing about the highest and best for all.

Blessings. And welcome to Miriam's meditations. We've been working our way through personal power through awareness, a beautiful book, a guide book for sensitive people. It's an oran book written by Cynthia Roman, who was one of my teachers, before she made her transition into the light and 2021. And I still find her in the energies. And she speaks to me, regularly giving me insight and inspiration. It's lovely to know people on the other side. It's hard at first sometimes when the transition happens, but it really is a blessing to all of us to have our energy ancestors there to give us guidance, and light. If you pay any attention at all to the news, you may have noticed that there's a lot of things to think about, and changes that are happening. Often in the news, there is a kind of worst case scenario, viewpoint. And so without mentioning any specific items in the news, because this is something that applies generally, as our news cycle gets breathless and overheated, and then cools off a little bit, that we can use our practice to do a couple of things in these types of cycles. One is to be transparent, to allow the frenzy to pass through our energy field and not hook us into participating and adding to the chaos and the frenzy. So transparency is one of the inner technologies that we can use. And this particular chapter, chapter nine is called Journey into the light going higher. So another thing that we can do is really lift ourselves up in the energy rise above as it were, not as though we are better than but that we are just trying to change our perspective and look at things from a different point of view. Because oftentimes, when things reach a crisis point in our personal lives and in our collective lives, it's a time when it's time to take some action, and do something about it. Now, when these events and things that are happening are far beyond our immediate purview, we can feel rather helpless. It's like, well, what can we do? So that brings me to my third idea of something that we can do. And that is to think differently. And remember that thoughts are action. Thoughts are a type of action, and what we think and how we think about the things that are happening in our world, we contribute to mass consciousness in a very specific way. So if you are hyperventilating about it, along with the news cycle, and you know, we all have our moments, I get it, you know, I've had a few this week, but not just sustain it not to go on and on about it to find a turning point where you can look at it from a higher perspective, be transparent, think different thoughts. So this chapter beautifully enough, beautiful timing wise, that Oren talks to us about not getting stuck in issues, and figuring out ways to find the lighter energy rather than the denser energies, rather than thinking particularly about negative or positive or right or wrong, etc. To find thoughts that lift us up and make us feel somehow a sense of relief, or even a neutral stance, perhaps not all the way to positivity, but a place where we can get a little relief about it. One thought in that regard would be well, this is something that's been going on for a long time, now it's in the light, now it's in our consciousness, we can begin to make some different choices around this issue. That's a different way to hold that rather than it's an imminent catastrophe. And I do want to point out that the things that we think about, and the ways we contribute to our mass consciousness in the way of thought is really important. And if we are only adding downward spiral thoughts, then that's the contribution that we're making. It's not really helpful. If we can't help it for a minute, maybe we you know, I get that. But as spiritually maturing individuals, let's call it, let's make an effort. So here, I just want to read you something from the end of this chapter. And then we're going to start our probing. Oren says, humanity is going through a transformation. Humanity is at a crossroads. In one direction lies peace and abundance. In the other conflict and scarcity. It is time to become aware of your personal thoughts on an ongoing daily basis. Every time you hate something every time you feel angry at yourself, every time you put yourself down or make yourself wrong As you are contributing to the planetary choice of scarcity every time you allow yourself to have more, permit yourself to feel good or love something, you are contributing to the planetary path of peace, love, and abundance. Alright, let's breathe with that. Close your eyes come into a comfortable position where you can breathe easily. And our breath work today is going to be inward and soothing. So what I'd like you to do, as we always do, and we began is to take stock of where your breathing is now if it's a little tight, notice, if it's a little shallow notice, maybe roll your head around, or squeeze your shoulder blades together and draw them apart. Just making some space in your breathing space. And on your next cycle of breath, count how long it takes you to breathe in, perhaps to the counter for. And as you breathe out, Allow your breath to be twice as long as your inhale. So perhaps to a count of eight. So we're slowing down or exhalation. And if you've been listening for a while you know that that slowing down brings us to our RESTful nervous system. Your rest and digest nervous system do that again breathe in. And a long, slow exhalation. It can be through your mouth if you like but through your nose is also fine. One more time breathing in. Breathing out let it all go put it all down. In this time when we are doing our practice we are releasing the outer world and journey deep to the within the inner realms. And in this moment I'd like you to specifically call upon your Higher Self inner being or your guide. However you receive your inner wisdom, allow your mind to settle and open as though in your head there is a large cone of light that's your mental body. Let it open and let it soften. Let that spot between your eyebrows where you sort of frowny face. Sometimes I'm sort of rubbing that spot between my eyebrows. let that soften that your whole being soften now in this moment, lift the base of the skull just a little bit so the back of the neck elongates and drop your shoulders away from your ears. This is another place that we can carry some tension and imagine that there is a doorway of light at the back of the head and neck. So as you take your next few breaths, allow the breath to open the back of the head and neck. Keep your shoulders easy and peaceful. This is a place where light can enter and if you are in your practice with the back of the neck and head open, it makes it easier for your guidance to reach you. Your guide should you be working with one has a number of layers of reality dimensions to move through in order to be in a place where you can receive that in your personality self your higher personality and even your body of light. back of the head and neck is open neck is long shoulders are released hands sometimes when the world is very chaotic I pull upon my hands The nervous energy comes out of my hands. So in this moment I am relaxing my hands, letting them be soft. If you'd like to bring the fingertips of both hands together this is a way to bring your mind into a peaceful place make that sound and breathe in breathe out once more Breathe in. Breathe out lift the first two fingers of the right hand to touch the third eye will draw spirals on the third eye to the count of 36. Miriam:at your third eye exhale out your third eye. Right hand remain stationary. Place your left hand upon your heart will unite heart and mind with our breaths. Breathe into your third eye. Exhale down into your heart. Let the mind drop into the heart. Breathe in at your third eye. Exhale into the peaceful soft sweet energy of the heart. Breathe into your third eye. Exhale into the heart, heart and mind began to blend. Inhale at your heart. The breath rises lifting into the mind and exhaling into the peacefulness of the heart. Inhale at your heart. The breath rises, lifting and blending and exhaling back down into the heart releasing to the hearts wisdom. Once more, draw the breath in. It's a heart. Lifting and blending

Miriam:heart and mind are wedded in a spiritual union. Breathe in and out of just the heart for just a moment. Recognize that that heart mind uniting breaths, brings us into the wisdom and knowing of the heart. Allowing the brain and the mind rest. be soothed. be nourished by the hearts knowing our hearts have almost as many neuronal cells very much like the brain as our brains do. So our hearts are indeed another brain in the body. Doing so much more for us than simply pumping our blood around the body All right, let's do a few rounds of alternate nostril breathing. Inhale and exhale through your nose now close off your right nostril with your thumb and breathe in the left side only. Close off with your fingers lift up your thumb breathe out breathe in same side clothes off lift up your fingers breathe out breathe and same clothes off out other bring insane clothes off, lift up your fingers breathe out insane

Miriam:the unsane put your hand drop to your lap and breathe out both alternate nostril breathing can be done anytime you need a bit of a reset. Notice how it has brought us to a place of equanimity or kind of even mindedness and give yourself a little remembrance. The next time you're feeling less than balanced or harmonious to take a few rounds of alternate nostril breathing. Give yourself a break a pause minor Yogi exercise inhale arms ARQ into a prayer pose above your head I am whole and perfect even as my mother father God is whole and perfect within me and exhale as you let your arms drop down to your lap notice where you are now. Notice and be grateful in gratitude for the deeply harmonious practice of pranayama we are so fortunate to have a spiritual practice we are so graced by this ancient wisdom of how the breath can reset us and bring us to this holy place of clarity, openness and compassion. Recognize now your body of light all around you brilliant and beautiful above you, below you in front of you behind you on either side. You may see your body of light is the sheen of beautiful white light or multicolored light or even your favorite color of light. The uniqueness of that light but recognize also that we can open to a vibration a general frequency of transparency almost as though the light is polarized and that which is around us flows through. It is truth that as you do probably on the practice and as you do spiritual practice, you cleanse and clear your personality level emotional and mental bodies. And so thus as you are clearing and cleansing your issues coming into resonance and harmony. When occurrences happen in your personality level world you are less and less likely You to be hooked or trapped by what others are thinking in mass consciousness. You are a spiritual warrior, you have come to raise your vibration in this lifetime and thus make your contribution to mass consciousness. So just imagine that all of that clutter and clutter of the outside world is as a river that simply flows through around or past you. And you are lifting up in your light body, you're lifting to the higher reaches of spiritualized energies, where things are harmony, and beauty. Joy, where the solutions are, where the highest and best for all concerned about any particular issue. This is where we find the answers we are seeking to the problems and challenges that are outworking in this moment. Being able and aware of how to lift up and gain a fresh perspective the things that are arising in this moment for humanity have a long, long long history entangled patterns, outworking of lesser vibrations, denser energies, but humanity is upon a choice into change and an opening new vistas are appearing new arenas of activity and these are on the inner planes. And this brings us to what are you thinking about in your ordinary life and even in your higher mind. Thoughts are actions thoughts are a type of action and we can be inner activists we can lift up become transparent open, look for the new VISTA allow the highest and best to be part of our energy field. So those thoughts and inspired actions and the highest and best solutions can now begin to precipitate because we have added some additional energy and juice. And we may not know exactly what they are and it is not necessary that we do. What is necessary is that we come with our open hearts and our rising in the energies, our willingness, our compassion for those who are struggling to find any sense or light in their situation. We can be the conduit of this light. Like the blessing of the rain the summer upon the crops. This energy precipitates through our participation we decide how to think about these things and our thoughts are very powerful. So imagine that as you have been lifting up and lifting and allowing your guidance to come through your guide to show you the way to open to these new visitors these inspired ideas. highest and best for all concerned if you would like in this moment to something that is of particular power. For you, in this moment, something in your personality world that you have concern for, or would like to offer light to be it's an individual a family issue, or something in the larger society that is up for us in this moment, as they say. I invite you to share your particular light. See if you can bring it into your consciousness and look at it from some different direction, perhaps put it off to the side of you, rather than right in front of you. Look at it from your peripheral vision or stand next to it and pretend you and this issue, whatever it is, or looking out down the future and seeing something in a new way, some new perspective imagining imagination is so powerful we as we make these seeds of imaginings, or creating new ideas that can percolate down into our personality level realities. So let your imagination lift up into these higher frequencies of light. Maybe put that issue in your pocket. It's not as big as you thought it was. These are the ways humanity will find its inspired ideas that can outwork

Miriam:And at the same time uplift just breathe light now, allow the breath to flow into you and carry the light in and carry the light through and out with each breath there is an expansion and enrichment of the light

Miriam:now feel how stable the light has become, feel has stabilized your energy is in this field.
Unknown:Remember this stability this is important
Miriam:you are creating this platform with all of those who are assembled. Let yourself imagine all of those who are assembled our pod of meditation our group that is filled with light and growing Allah that takes some kind of shape or pattern. Now look out, out and out and out. recognize there are so many other gatherings exactly like this one. pods of meditators, groups coming together with heart all seeking the seeds of inspiration that we are creating and allowing to flow through us recognize how many other groups of light beings there are all across this planet who have been in training as long or longer than we are for just this moment now, notice the pattern of light that links us all together and let us add beauty to the pattern it shimmers it becomes extra dimensional more and more links are occurring more and more ways that we are connecting and collaborating in light we are sharing our frequencies we are borrowing from each other. Now, do you see where the hope lies they are so many just likely and because we know how to find these higher frequencies of light, we can be a beacon for others the light is so easy to spread it clears it heals it reminds us of the sacredness of each breath at each moment of ease each purpose

Miriam:come into resonance with all the other beings of light who are here for our activity here on the inner planes is attracted a great deal of notice that we are ready for the benediction and blessing of the inner planes intelligences. We are ready to receive the scenes from the higher dimensions from the finer frequencies that beautiful light

Miriam:and we have been noticed. So now that information can flow more freely through us into ordinary reality uplifting it enriching it and folding it with these frequencies of light Alright, we have done much beautiful work here together today. Think your guide your inner being your higher self and all of the beings of light who have joined us to assist in this process. Gratitude also for all of the other earthly beings who are meditating together in this moment to all of the other pods of life that we recognized and linked up with a kind of celebration it is on the inner planes gratitude for the breath for this very simple breath practice that we did this day so effective because we are together and we are assisting one another Thank you Oren for your wisdom Encinia through whom this wisdom came back to our breathing bodies I bring my hands together at my heart and thanksgiving for each of you who are listening and sharing and being part of this light.
