Full Breath Practice with JOY!

This week we update our pranayama skills with a joy-filled full practice. We do a few breaths we haven’t done together in a while, filling our whole field with LIGHT. We begin with drawing silver light into our spinal cord and nervous system, illuminating us from within. We proceed on to the full practice, adding in the sound of healing for our Heart. The energetic practice clears and cleanses all our bodies, physical, emotional, mental and aligns them with the etheric energy body. We emerge illuminated and filled with zest!

Hmm. Welcome to Miriam's meditations. I am extremely pleased that you are here and sharing in the light and joy of this moment. And before I hit the record button, I was speaking with the students who are with me live making this recording with me. We are all breathing together and meditating together, and there's just a lot of joy. One of oren's central tenets that he teaches us is that it's possible to grow through joy instead of struggle. Challenges are probably inevitable, but how we approach them and what we do with all of that is up to us, and being able to find that spark of joy is a practice. But we also noted that we felt that the energy of this time had changed and that we were in a new arena of light and hope and joy. So I hope that's happening for you as well, that you are feeling the sparkle of this fresh time. So let's close our eyes and jump right into our meditation, our breath practice. What I'd like to do today is run through all of the well, not all, most of the breath exercises that we know how to do, so a somewhat longer breath exercise today than we have been doing as a kind of a reset. One of the things that Duane used to tell us, who channeled for dub in was that it's important to update your skills on a regular basis. And so I have found over the years, as I have been a breath practitioner, that it is essential to update my breath practice skills on a regular basis. And so let's do that today, and let's begin by just closing our eyes and drawing inward, coming into the center of your body. And imagine your whole spinal cord is filled with luminous, brilliant light. And perhaps even imagine that your spinal cord is rather in the center of your body, even though we know that physically, it's more toward the back. Let's just play with that for a moment. Imagine that central pillar of light and that our spinal cord is filling with light. So as you inhale, allow the silvery, brilliant light to flow in on your breath and fill your spinal cord with light from the tip of your tailbone to the base of your skull at the top of your spine, and then into your head as well and radiating out to all of your nervous system. Right just like that, breathing in beautiful, silvery light, and as you exhale, allow it to expand into all of your nervous system. Just imagine a beautiful, fine, fine network of light throughout all of your physical body that is your nervous system. And your breath can draw in light that nourishes the nervous system. And you might find that as you do this practice, that it is uplifting and vitalizing at the same time it is peaceful and centering. So breathing in light into the central column and into the nervous system is a quick and easy way to refresh, and a long exhale will bring you into your parasympathetic nervous system, your rest and digest nervous system that is a little calmer, quiet, but Still alert. We're not drifting off to sleep. We're finding our inner being. Bring the first two fingers of the right hand up to touch the third eye, and we'll draw spirals on the forehead to the count of 36 and. As you are spiraling, and I'd like you to draw the breath in at the third eye and out of the third eye, cleansing and clearing your intuition. And let's begin. 1-234-567-8910, 1112, 1314, 1516, 1718, 1920 2122 2320 420-526-2720, 520-627-2829, 3031 30 230-334-3536, pause. Inhale at your third eye. You and exhale at the third eye, heart, mind uniting breath. Right hand remains stationary. Left hand comes up and place it upon your heart. Breathe in at your third eye and exhale into your heart. Breathe in at your third eye, exhale into your heart. Heart and Mind begin to blend once more. Breathe in at your third eye, draw the breath deeply into your head and collecting that energy, breathe it into your heart, drop into the heart. Now breathe in at your heart. Allow the breath to rise and lift, illuminating the mind and exhale that blended energy back down into the heart. Breathe in at your heart. Lift, blend, exhale that blended energy into the peaceful, sweet heart, the Golden Heart, breathe into that golden light of the heart and lift it into the mind, illuminating the mind with the heart's wisdom, and then exhale back down into the heart. Right Hand remains stationary. Left hand drops to your lap, alternate nostril, breathing, breathe in through both sides of your nose and exhale out both sides of your nose. Mouth is gently closed you now close off your right nostril with your thumb and breathe in the left side only close off with your fingers, lift up your thumb, breathe out, breathe in same side. Close off, lift up your fingers. Breathe out. Breathe in same close off out other, and same out other. Insane. Out other insane let your hand drop to your lap and breathe out both, balance, harmony, clarity for. Taking a full cycle of breath, drawing in again, that brilliant light into the central pillar of light of your being, and radiating it out to all of your nervous system. Our nervous system is the very first place that is impacted by any stimulus in ordinary 3d reality. So this nourishing practice harmonizes, clears and cleanses and settles. All right, let's open our eyes and begin tapping on the breathing space, the upper chest, fingertips just tapping. This is a lung cell stimulating and also stimulating the High Heart, the thymus and the thyroid gland. The All right, let's pause, fingertips still on your upper chest, and now breathe in, tapping, tapping, tapping, patting, as you retain the breath, patting, Patty, Patty, exhale. Whoa. Again. Tapping on the breathing space, you can tap on your upper back, if you can reach it, tap on your lower ribs, padding as you retain the breath, padding with the flat of the hand and exhale whenever you're ready. Eyes open, palms up, two cleansing breaths. Breathe in, breathe out three puffs. Exhale completely on that last puff again, breathe in, cleanse hands on either side of your lower rib cage. We're going to do rib stretching breath. All right, so feel your ribs with your fingers and palms. If you can put your thumbs on your back ribs, that's great. If that doesn't work for your hands, just alongside your palms, is fine. All right, let's breathe in together. And as you exhale, press with your hands your rib cage, and breathe in again and press. Let's do one more breathe in and press really move your ribs, if you can, palms up, eyes open, cleansing, breath, breathe in, exhale, breathe in, cleanse and all right hands at your lower ribs or below your belly button. Let's do kapalabhati skull shining breath, this very dynamic breath. Mouth is closed, only breathing through the nose. And if you can get the hang of it, just to squeeze your abdomen and breathe out. And just think about the breathing out. All right? So hands are right, hand over left on your abdomen. All right. Let's just take a breath in and breath out to prepare and exhale Fold in three rounds, 12 puffs each time begin and pause palms up for a cleansing breath. Breathe in three puffs. Cleanse again, cleanse and hands at your abdomen, right, hand over left. Begin. That's 12, and then palms up to cleansing. Breathe in three puffs out. Again, cleanse. One last round hands are to your abdomen. Begin, pause, palms up, cleansing breath. Breathe in, cleanse and again, cleanse, close your eyes that one can make you very warm. It's also known as Breath of Fire, and perhaps now you can see why, as a deeply cleansing breath takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but I hope you gave it a try. So now just breathing in and breathing out, easy, peaceful breath, you let's do two surrender breaths, inhale and exhale, a full and complete breath we're just preparing here and now. Breathe in full and long and deep, rising to the top. Swallow, inhale some extra breath into the chest. Exhale a tiny amount from your abdomen. Breathe into your abdomen and let it all go. Surrender once again. Breathe in rising to the top. Inhale extra breath in the upper chest. Exhale a little bit from the abdomen. Fill the abdomen and let it all go. What can you surrender? Eyes open, one cleansing breath, very gentle.

let's breathe in and out of our heart for a moment. Imagine golden light in the heart. I would like to use the sound for the heart. If you've never done the sound for the heart, it is simply a ha sound. So now for the heart, breath, the heart clearing breath. Let's open our eyes, and what I'd like you to do is inhale and lift your arms, press your palms toward the sky and say ha. And now inhale and exhale and bring your arms down again, inhale, lift, look up, press your palms toward the sky, ha, inhale, exhale, bring your arms down one more time. Breathe in. Lift your arms, lift your eyes, press your palms away. Ha, ah, inhale, exhale, bring your arms down. Now, place your hands upon your heart, right, hand over left. Draw breath into the beautifully cleansed heart. Imagine light filling your heart, all of the spaces that have just been cleansed with our sound and our breathing practice. We draw in love, unconditional love, joy, peace, abundance, wellness, and as we breathe out, we breathe all of this out into the world, hands in your lap, all right now our final breath and. Minor Yogi exercise, inhale, lift your arms, press your palms together in a prayer pose above your head, I am whole and perfect, even as my mother, father, God is whole and perfect within me. And exhale as your arms fall down to your lap. Again, breathing in arms, lift, press into a prayer pose above your head. In the center of my being, out and out and out, I call forth of My perfect blueprint of being and exhale as your arms drop down to your lap. Let's just breathe here and noticing how our energy is now perhaps it's different than when you began your practice with this vigorous, enlivening Updating of our pranayama skills, a long breath practice can leave you in a high, vibrating state. You may notice that your mind is quieted, that your emotions are still and there is clarity within you. I feel the radiance all around you of your body of light, and how connected you feel to that body of light in this moment, for the pranayama also lifts you into these higher octaves of light. It increases your capacity for light. And each of these exercises in their own particular way, draws light directly into your physical body, your emotional body, your mental body, and it harmonizes them with the etheric body, your energy body. So see if, in this moment, you also feel aligned, harmonious at oneness and use your breath to draw light into your being, wherever you are called to do. So there may be some portion of your physical being that could use some additional light in this moment, and now that you have cultivated this beautiful field of high, sparkling, radiant energy with your breath practice, this is a pristine moment to bring energy to any part of your being, to the heart your physical body, to your third eye, to your connection to your guide, using This energy to enhance your connection to your guide, asking for clarity in hearing your guides, loving instruction or guidance, wisdom, comfort your guide will always share with You that which is high and beautiful, filled with the light of your very best You connection to your highest levels being these breath exercises cleanse and clear at all levels of the being. So if you have something that has arisen in your consciousness in a mental fashion or an emotional fashion, perhaps this is something you can draw breath into and then breathe it out and away, allowing it to move along and lift away from you, perhaps a deeper level of surrender or letting go, if. Can be made in this moment, and then recognizing the spaciousness let your body of light expand in this moment and expand again. Feel all around you, all the patterns, all the connectedness, the connectivity, not just in all the layers and levels of your being with all of those who are around us. In this moment, we're listening and breathing and meditating all together, forming a high and beautiful pattern of light. And let's reach out then to all who are to come. Those who are walking this path along out into time, share a little radiance. It's so easy to do because it is infinitely abundant. And let's look out with our inner vision to all of the other radiant groups, and listen again for that joy that we spoke of in the very beginning of our time together. This is a moment of joy. It is so very essential to recognize these higher qualities as they move into our reality and to our shared expression of reality. It is important to notice when we are being nourished on all levels by uplifting energies and frequencies, and in this time there's joy. Joy is fuel for all of your creative projects, for all of the things that you are solving and communicating, for all of the growth that you are about in this moment, all of the connections you are making with others you Breathe that joy into your heart, into your being. You all right, this has been a lovely experience of breathing in this very dynamic fashion, bringing oxygen in and carbon dioxide and other products of the body's metabolism out, we feel it lifted and vitalized and refreshed. So come back now to your body, to your breathing body in its chair, on the cushion, collect your consciousness. Back to that central pillar of light, your spine. The spine is an excellent place to draw your attention. Try to do that on a regular basis as you move through these next few days, and see how that works for you.
